BIKE40 kilometers / 24.8 miles
This is a fast course! The route follows along the lake with only one climb as you arrive back to transition. The bike course starts and finishes in the same location. The total elevation is +/-649ft. The average grade is less than 1%. There are no aid stations on the bike course. Please note for 2019, road construction has altered our route slightly. At mile 8.2, you will continue straight on London until the turn around. Beginners will love the ease of this ride,
while experienced cyclists will look to set a PR! Turn-by-turn Directions

RUN10 kilometers / 6.2 miles
This out and back 6.2 mile route takes you along the beautiful lake shore. The road is a combination of pavement and compact gravel. Plenty of trees give cover to the summer sun as you make your way though the course. When you exit transition, there is a 6ft elevation gain up the side of the road to get onto the run course. Once you turn left on to the course, your next turn is the turn around. That's it. It is a straight, flat, out and back along the lake. AID STATIONS There are aid stations at approximately mile 1, 2.5, 3.5, and 5 on the 10k run course. Aid stations will be stocked with Heed sports drink and Hammer Gels. Our aid stations always have a box of the emergency items such as vasoline, electrolyte tabs, bandaids, sunscreen etc. If you need something, ask an aid station volunteer. |
