Something that always sticks in my mind is the image of first arriving in the morning, race day and looking over the Lake! Every year I have done, the lake has been calm, maybe with a little mist or low cloud hanging over it. But it is one of those views that taking a picture would not do it justice. It makes me smile and think "Wow, I get to race here!"

It is a race I keep coming back to because I love not only the location and course, but the fun, social atmosphere.
